PRIZES AND AWARDS
The college organizes its annual prize distribution function every year towards the end of academic session. The date is decided in consultation with the IQAC , Principal and rest of the staff and is notified well in advance for the information of students. This is an event to highlight the academic, curricular and extra-curricular achievements of the students who work hard throughout the year to achieve excellence . That is a moment of inspiration and motivation for all the students and becomes memorable in their life.
The criteria for the award of various prizes is based on merit achieved in the university exams. The amount and nature of prizes of various categories is decided by the prize committee in consultation with the college Principal and the IQAC. The list of all categories are prepared and are displayed on the notice board for the information of students.
Any query/ discrepancy related to the prizes is addressed and rectified by the prize committee . The certificates are prepared for all the prize winners under the signature of the principal.
The chief guest on the occasion in his /her speech appreciates and inspires students. The annual college report is presented by the Principal highlighting the achievements, progress and various activities undertaken throughout the academic year. On this occasion , the college honours the extraordinary students who excel in all fields by awarding them ‘Bedeian Pins’. In addition to this there are some special academic prizes sponsored by faculty members to encourage and motivate the students. Cash prize is also given to these students along with the prize in kind. The college celebrates this eventful occasion enthusiastically.
