Community Outreach Cell started at St. Bede’s college in the Centenary year -2004.  It was
an effort made to sensitize our students towards their surrounding environment and give them
an opportunity to serve and sensitize the community. Programs taken up under Community
Outreach cell helps in fostering social responsibility and creating a deeper connection
between students, college and the community. Cell works on instilling a sense of empathy
and civic engagement among the students and is committed to make a positive change in the
local community.
Activities taken up by Community Outreach Cell

  • Student and teachers’ iinteractions with local schools and the community
  • Plays, Skits, and Nukkad Nataks on themes of disaster management, women’s issues,
    environment issues etc.
  • Awareness sessions covering a wide range of topics, from health and hygiene to
    environmental conservation and social issues.
  • Career counselling sessions and personality development workshops for school
    children.
  •  Celebrations of important days and festivals with the community
